How to Spot Good Quality Squeeze Page Templates

by Larry Land

There's just no way around it. You definitely need a good quality squeeze page template if you want your online business to succeed. While it may not be the be-all and end-all of online marketing, this unassuming little page may help determine whether your marketing efforts will pay you off handsomely in the long run or not.

Admittedly, list building is one of the most neglected aspects of internet marketing. A lot of online marketers never fail to come up with all sorts of excuses for not building their lists. And that includes the lack of technical know-how in creating and putting up squeeze pages.

Sadly, that is the fate most online marketers are headed on to. And they give a lot of reasons why they continue putting off their list building efforts. Some claim they have no time to do it. A good number are dead-broke they can't even afford to pay for their monthly autoresponder subscription or have their squeeze pages designed. While a lot of others don't know what to do to start one.

However, even your lack of technical skills isn't a valid excuse anymore. There are now a lot of websites that offer free tutorials and templates to make your list building project easier. All you need to do now is to make sure you pick the right templates and you're on your way to list building success! Need help in picking up the right ones? Well, here are some factors that separate the good templates from the bad.

Good squeeze page templates look professional. Even the most novice of online marketers probably knows how to spot a template that looks professional enough to earn trust from its visitors. No one will want to give their contact details to an amateurish looking site so, choose one that commands an air of authority.

Make sure the template displays a strong 'call to action'. Keep in mind that internet readers are too impatient. So, one good rule to follow is to make your call to action as prominent as it can be. Keep it above the virtual fold to maximize conversion. And don't let them scroll further down your page just to find it!

Keep distractions at a minimum. Squeeze pages are designed to convert your visitors into subscribers. There really is no point in impressing them with unnecessary graphics and flashy animations, or giving them other options by putting up external links to other pages or websites. It will only distract your visitors' attention and hurt your conversion. Remember, the simpler your squeeze page is, the better and more effective it will be.

Give your online business the break it deserves. Build your list using high converting squeeze page templates and see how your business soars!
