Affiliate Marketing And The Profitable Blog
If you are doing affiliate marketing you know the more traffic the more money in your bank account. You want as many people going to your affiliate website or sales page as possible. Your commissions are based on the number of sales you help close so you need lots and lots of traffic.
There are many ways you can promote your affiliate product. You can build your own website and drive traffic there and have an affiliate link in text for or in the form of a banner ad on your website. Or you can use Google adwords to run an advertising campaign with a pay per click ad.
You can use twitter to write quick reviews about your affiliate product and include your affiliate link in your twitter posting and invite readers to click and read more about your affiliate product. Or you can find profitable blogs to promote your affiliate products. When you choose to find blogs to promote your affiliate product you want to write down who your buyers are.
You want to figure out who are your buyers for this product. If you are promoting a work from home business opportunity you might think of stay at home moms or dads as potential buyers. Or you can target students who want to make money but not leave their home where they can also study for class. And there are those who have just retired and might have extra time but not extra cash and will want to learn about making money from home.
Now write down what kinds of blogs these people would frequent. Stay at home parents might read blogs on home schooling. College students might read blogs about college life. Retired people might read blogs about senior citizen life. Now you can go online and search for blog finder tools. Once you find a blog finder you are comfortable using, there are several on the internet, you then type in the blog subject you are looking for.
For instance you can type in "home schooling." Use quotation marks in your search so you get that specific blog type in your search results. You will want to focus on the blogs that have been updated daily, weekly, and the last blogs to look at are those updated monthly. Take a look at the blog. See if there are people already advertising products on the blog.
You will find some blogs that even have information on how to advertise on their blog sites. Then contact the blog owner for more details like his or her fees. Remember you have to choose a blog related to the product you are promoting. And also pick blogs with large subscriber lists.
Ask about endorsed posting. For a fee some blog owners will make a post about your product. If he has a very large readership this might be worth the cost.
